alex Nice site. Your link to antonov airlines is not working at the moment. You might like to add a link to antonovairlines.co.uk which is produced by Air Foyle HeavyLift Ltd marketing Antonov Airlines. Much the same type of content. I will arrange to add your site as a link from ours. You have some nice photos of early aircraft. May we use them on our site? I will pass yr URL to Valeri Kulbaka, Igor Babenko and Vladimir Gousar all who works in our office in England. Best of luck with your career. Dea r Mr. Zakharov: I'm doing research for some programs called "Extreme Travel Tech" for the Travel Channel here in the US. One of the episodes will be on gigantic planes so naturally we're interested in featuring the AN-124 and -225. I'm trying to get in touch with the manufacturers, or whoever would give permission to do filming of these aircraft. So far I have found this address: OKB Antonov / Antonov Design Bureau 1 Tupolev Street - Kiev 252062 - Ukraine Tel : +7 044 442-6124 Fax : +7 044 449-9996 but not an email address. When I tried to fax (dialing 011-380-7-44-449-9996 from the US) I got a message saying that the number is not in service. I will continue searching the Internet, but in the meantime, would you happen to know if this is the correct company to get in touch withand if this is where they're located? Thank you very much for your time and assistance! Sincerely, Ansley

Dear Alex, I don't know if you remember me, but I think I remember you from the AN 225 visit to the NY-Philadelphia area in 1991--Children of Chernobyl Airlift. I believe Sasha Galunenko introduced us. I also still have one of your pins from then! How are you and your family? Are you all in Canada now? Do you hear from Alexander? I am still in aviation as a hobby, though. Also, I am gonig to Washington, DC the beginning of the week to be honored for Flight Across America at the National Aeronautics Association--you probably know this organization, since Mriya set many records (also AN124-Ruslan). Please let me know how you are doing, and I would possibly like a price list of your pins. check out our website--www.flightacrossamerica.com my picture is under "ABOUT US" two songs I co-wrote have been chosen for the official theme songs--VOICE OF FREEDOM CD My best wishes, Susan skyvisions@hotmail.com

Dear Alex, I presume that you speak english, as your website is available in my native tongue? I am hoping that you may be able to help me. I am a free-lance writer in the UK and I am currently working on a book about modern airship development. I really wish to include details of the important design work undertaken at the Antonov Design Bureau in the late 1960's, but I simply do not have enough information. I wish to contact a chap called M.Arie who has written many books about Russian airships, and was one of the airship project leaders at Antonov. I was given his telephone number by a Russian internet acquaintance,(whom I have since lost contact with) but have never been able to get through. Mr.Arie, however, was told of my interest in his work, and he was happy to co-operate with me. However, I came across your website whilst searching the internet for M.Arie. I realise that it is unlikely, but would you possibly know Mr.Arie, and be able to pass on his address to me? Or possibly know how I may go about tracing him? I believe that he still lives in Kiev. I would be so grateful if you could help me at all, as I am running out of ideas on how to locate him. I fear that I may have to abandon my planned section on Russian research and design into modern airships, as I just do not have the information to put pen to paper. Many thanks and best wishes, Nigel Caley.

Hello, Congratulations with your great Antonov pin collection and website. I found it via yahoo. I'm a ground engineer and work on Boeing 727 & 757 and Airbus 300 aircraft in Belgium. My real interest are "ex-soviet" aircraft and especially Antonov. Not so far from my hometown is a cargo airport where still a lot of Antonovs come (yesterday I saw 3 An-12 and 1 An-124). I'm also a collector of "Soviet" transport aircraft pins (I have about 200 different Antonov pins). I also collect old brochures and booklets of these aircraft. Do you know where I could find Antonov items? I'm willing to pay for any items related to Antonov or other "ex-Soviet" aircraft design bureaus (Tu-,Il-,Yak-,...). If you could help, it would mean a lot to me. Best Regards, Bruno

Hello: I am an amateur artist trying to do a cutaway illustration of the AN-225. Do you have any contacts at the Antonov design bureau who can provide me with copies of detailed drawings of structure, avionics, propulsion, landing gear, etc? I am willing to pay costs. Thanks. Rich
